- LU MA MI JU VI SA DO
Before her first song had finished her tour manager escorted her from the stage.
The organisational committee of the Somontano Wine Festival had to cancel last night’s concert due to heavy rain. Only moments after starting the concert, the heavens opened with a deluge of rain and Rosario’s tour manager came onto the stage to take her to safety. Rosario spoke to the public from backstage to announce that they would wait a few minutes to assess if it would be possible to continue with the concert.
Almost 3,000 people waited patiently for the rain to stop but to no avail; it continued to pour. After discussion between the artist’s team and the festival organisers, Rosario went onto the stage once more to announce to the public that due to safety regulations it would be impossible to continue.
Concert goers filed out of Barbastro’s bull ring quietly and were soon joined by people from the Gastronomic Fair. Seeing that the rain was set in for the night, most chose to leave the outdoor bar and tapas area to find shelter in local bars and cafés.
Refund for Rosario tickets.
In the next few days, the Regulatory Council of the DO Somontano will provide information regarding refunds for the cancelled concerts.
