The festival’s concerts, as organised by the D.O. Somontano Regulatory Council, will take place between the 4th and 7th August in Barbastro’s Bull Ring in the San Julian and Santa Lucia complex.  The concerts start at 11pm and are as follows:

Thursday 4th August:  The festival opens with its first concert with Andy y Lucas, a duo from Cadiz.  Known for creating “southern pop” the pair have five charts hits to their name as well as a string of awards and acknowledgments for their music.   “Pido la palabra” is the album that will feature in their current tour and the Festival.

Friday, 6th August: The power and strength of the Flores family arrives in Somontano thanks to the youngest of the clan, Rosario, as she takes the stage on the second night of the festival.  She will be performing songs from her latest album "Raskatriski" giving the audience a perfect excuse to dance!

Saturday 7th August: Melendi returns to the Somontano Wine Festival after the success of his first visit on 2006.  On this occasion he will delight the crowds with songs from his latest album as well as a few old favourites that are sure to rock the Bull Ring.

Sunday, 8th August: Dani Martín has been the vocalist with the Spanish group “El Canto del Loco” since it was founded and has recently gone on to launch a solo career.  Not only does his concert round off the Somontano Wine Festival in style, but will also help the local community as 1€ from each ticket sold will be donated to the Barbastro Alzheimer’s Society.

The Somontano Wine Festival 2011 Voucher provides entry into all tour concerts and will be on sale from Monday 4th June at a price of €60.  The single entry price to see Andy y Lucas is €20 and the concerts of Melendi and Dani Martín go on sale at €25.
